Swinburne Advancement serves as the link that brings together our alumni, donors and supporters who are passionate about helping to advance our mission, vision, and goals.
Our primary purpose is to foster meaningful and enduring relationships with you, our key stakeholders and partners in for-purpose goals. By connecting with alumni, cultivating donor relationships, and coordinating philanthropic initiatives, the Swinburne Advancement team seeks to build the enabling support that will supercharge academic programs, research endeavours, student scholarships, and campus infrastructure.

Donations Framework
To protect donors and the University from publicly-expressed concerns or perceptions of undue donor influence over academic, administrative, curriculum, building, admissions and student programming decisions, this Framework provides guidance to assist both potential donors and University staff in understanding where these boundaries lie.
Gift Acceptance and Fundraising Conduct
Swinburne acts in accordance with the legislative requirements of its DGR status to ensure that all philanthropic gifts are managed in an efficient, effective, and ethical manner.
