The Swinburne Astronomy Online group gives past students of this online course the opportunity to meet face-to-face for social, networking and learning opportunities. The group meet every few years at AstroFest — an event open to the entire SAO community of alumni, students and instructors. These get-togethers include astronomy lectures, hands-on demonstrations, night observing and social events.
